it's just OK
the facilities of the room didnt match the impression the hotel gave me firstly.and there were people smoking in the restaurant during breakfast time making me very uncomfortable but the staffs did nothing to stop the smokers

Where do I start? I have been to Bali a handful of times trying to stay in different locations each time. We decided this time around to splash out more on accomodation but this was not worth the money. We stayed for 8 nights and I regret booking golden tulip pictures made it look nicer than it actually is. Hotel: 2/10 only bonus was had a nice massage - starting off we arranged for pick up and drop off from the airport but no one arrived to pick us up. This was confirmed in 2 seperate emails so we waited roughly 40mins for someone to show and because no one did eventually made our own way to the hotel which cost us more than the hotel transfer was going to cost. I told the person at reception and he blamed someone else rather than accepting responsibility or offering something as small as a drink of water for the inconvenience. - we had paid for a pool view room instead we got the back of a concrete wall with some trees, gas bottles and other random things. - requested a higher floor instead we got reception level. Even though there was two floors above us. - swim up bar was never open staff advised it’s never opened before yet pictures show a bar. - functions on 4 nights in a row blaring music from 6pm until well past 11pm couldn’t even hear the tv or sleep. - there is drivers available for 4x the price of anywhere else and they try to force you to keep using their service. Cost 100,000rp to go 1km up the road when a blue bird cost 30,000rp which was the minimum payment. - no assistance offered for site seeing or activities. Took 3 days for reception to arrange us go to Bali Safari. Each time we questioned I was told they would call my room. Turns out the whole time the man at reception was calling Bali safari directly and told us we needed a ticket and transport (from Bali safari) to go even after I questioned that. He finally understood what I was asking on the 3rd day and it turns out we could of bought a ticket at the park and organised our own...

Terrible service, stole money from my company
If i could give negative stars, I would. Had to check out early due to professional reasons and was given no refund. Staff was rude and the bed sheets were stained. Breakfast was sub par and my collegue got sick.
